百字图，我们也叫它百字迎福图。在中国传统文化中有它的一种特定含义。由于它含有大或者无穷的意思，因此把祝福、恭贺的良好愿望发挥到了一种极至的状态。在礼仪之帮的中国，都愿意在喜庆、甚至平时用上它。

画着众多小孩，祈求多子多孙的画。杨绯桢《六宫戏婴图》诗：“百子图开翠屏底，戏弄碰扭未生齿。”宋代辛弃疾《稼轩词·鹧鸪天·祝良显家牡丹一本百朵》：“恰如翠?扛咛蒙希?来看红衫百子图。”
